Sway & Breathe

I can’t believe this is only Hayden Calnin’s debut album. He is a very special artist. You might already know some of his songs such as ‘For My Help’, ‘Shutters’ (all from his superb EP City). With his signature vocals (the likes of Justin Vernon), he takes us in his music universe (a very unique mix of folk and electro- the song ‘Honour’ is a good example of that). With each track, we dive a little deeper with him. Songs like ‘We Are Stars And Spheres’ or ‘Small Leaf’ show his ability to use electro beats to convey feelings. There’s a great dose of fragility and humanity in this record that makes it even more fascinating.
